Apple Watch Series 6 and SE have arrived to their first owners
On Tuesday, on the occasion of the Apple Event keynote, we saw the presentation of new Apple watches, specifically the Series 6 model and the cheaper SE variant. The start of sales of the watch in the United States and the other 25 countries was set for today, and it looks like the first lucky ones are already enjoying the mentioned models. The customers themselves shared this information on social networks. As a reminder, let's summarize the advantages of the new Apple Watch once again.

The new Apple Watch Series 6 received a gadget in the form of a pulse oximeter, which is used to measure oxygen saturation in the blood. Of course, the Californian giant has not forgotten about its performance in the case of this model. For this reason, it came with a new chip that ensures 20 percent more performance compared to the previous generation, a two and a half times brighter display in the case of always-on, a more advanced altimeter of the new generation and new options for choosing straps. The price of the watch starts at 11 CZK.
A cheaper option is the Apple Watch SE. In the case of this model, Apple finally listened to the pleas of the apple lovers themselves and, following the example of iPhones with the SE attribute, also brought a lightweight version of the watch itself. This variant boasts pretty much the same options as the Series 6, but lacks the ECG sensor and always-on display. In any case, it can offer its user fall detection, a compass, an altimeter, an SOS call option, a heart rate sensor along with notifications about possible fluctuations, water resistance up to a depth of fifty meters, the Noise application and more. Apple Watch SE is sold from CZK 7.
Changing the default browser or email client in iOS and iPadOS 14 is not so rosy
The Californian giant showed us its upcoming operating systems at the WWDC 2020 developer conference in June. Of course, iOS 14 received the most attention, which newly offered widgets, the Application Library, better notifications in case of incoming calls and a number of other changes. However, what apple users especially appreciated is the possibility to change the default browser or email client. On Wednesday, after almost three months of waiting, Apple finally released iOS 14 to the public. But as it seems from the latest news, it will not be so rosy with the change of default applications - and it also affects the iPadOS 14 system.

Users have started to complain about a very interesting bug that makes the function practically useless. This information began to spread on social networks from several sources. If you change your default apps and then restart your phone, the iOS 14 or iPadOS 14 operating system will not save the changes and will revert to the Safari browser and the native Mail email client. So, if you would like to use the feature, you must avoid turning off your device. But this can be a problem in the case of a dead battery.
A new watch face and other news are headed to Apple Watch Nike
The changes in the case of the Apple Watch also make their way to the Nike versions. Today, through a press release, the company of the same name announced a new update that brings great news. An exclusive modular dial with a sporty touch will be heading to the aforementioned Apple Watch Nike. It is directly designed to offer the user a number of different complications, a new option for a quick start of exercise, the total number of kilometers in a given month and the so-called Guided Runs.
The new watch face also offers Nike Twilight Mode. This will give apple riders a brighter watch face when running at night, making them more visible. To motivate users, you can notice so-called Streaks on the image attached above. This function "rewards" the owner of the watch if he completes at least one run per week. This way, you can maintain different streaks every week and possibly even beat yourself.
