The game Dr. announced in January Mario World will arrive on iOS and Android platforms in less than a month, on July 10. This is a remake of the 90s puzzle classic Dr. Mario, which is supplemented with modern elements, modified gameplay and, unfortunately, also some microtransactions.

So far, Nintendo has left quite a positive mark on the iOS platform, especially with the universally well-received Mario Run game. The new title Dr. Mario World probably doesn't have similar ambitions, but it will still find its fans.

It is a logical platformer based on solving individual tasks, which functionally resemble a mix of Tetris and Candy Crush-type games. In the video above, you'll find some gameplay demos as well as an explanation of how Dr. Mario World is playing.

The game will be available for free, but it will be supplemented with microtransactions, for which it will be possible to purchase mainly game elements enabling further play. Like most similar games, there will be a system that will penalize frequent players and force them to purchase in-game items that extend the available game time. Dr. Mario World can be pre-ordered, you can find the link to the App Store here.
