Have you ever been scrolling through your photo gallery on your phone and come across an interesting place that you want to visit again, but you can't remember how exactly you got there? If so, you might be interested in a new simple app that lets you navigate directly from an image in the Photos app to the location where the photo was taken.

An app with a head-scratching name Navigate to Photo with Any Navigation app – Action Extension is a very simple tool, the meaning of which is as follows. It adds the "Navigate to Photo" option to the sharing menu, after pressing which the application will immediately offer you a list of navigation applications installed on your phone, and if you choose one of them, you can go right away.

For clarification, it is necessary to add that in order for the application to be able to guide you to the place from the photo, the given image must of course be equipped with geolocation information. Therefore, it will not be functional if you have denied your Camera access to location information.

The app itself serves no other purpose than to select the navigation apps that will be offered to you when you launch an action from the sharing extension. In its environment, you will of course also find a list of applications that you do not have installed on your phone, but they can also be used for navigation using extensions. You immediately know which travel apps the service supports. The advantage is that the developer intends to expand the list of such applications based on user demand, and since the list of supported applications is stored on the developer's server, there will be no need to update the application through the App Store to expand it.

If you're wondering which apps you can use to navigate to places in your photos, they're pretty much all the popular navigation apps, including Google Maps, Apple Maps, Here Maps, NAVIGON, TomTom, Waze, and more. In supported cities, travel apps such as Uber or Citymapper can also be used to get to the location.

If you are interested in the application, you can download it from the App Store for a pleasant €0,99.
