The Adobe Aero application arrived on iPhones and iPads this week. With its help, creators can create projects in augmented reality and combine 3D models and 2D images in them. The program is completely free and its goal is to make it easier for creators to work in an augmented reality environment. Adobe Aero is especially designed for users who do not have any special programming skills.

"Aero is the first tool that enables creators to create and share immersive augmented reality experiences—without any programming skills," said Stefano Corazza, Director of Augmented Reality at Adobe. Augmented reality works with a combination of digitally created objects that are embedded in an image of a real environment. An example can be not only games like Pokémon Go, but also the relatively new native app Measurement from Apple.

The Adobe Aero application is primarily aimed at artists, who can effectively combine digital content with real-world footage to produce unique creations with the help of this tool. "Everything becomes a creative canvas for millions of people who want to tell their story in a new and interesting way," said Corazza in this regard. Aero's capabilities are demonstrated by Adobe in a promotional video.

The first mention of this tool appeared already last year - then still under the name Project Aero. In Aero, you can combine 3D files from Adobe Dimension and similar applications with creations from Photoshop or Illustrator. The application is intuitive, detailed step-by-step instructions will guide the user through the creation process.

Adobe Aero is a free download in App Store.
