If you use your Apple Watch to jogging, we have good news for you. The Nike+ Run Club app has received a major update that adds a lot of interesting new features. Hints of these changes could be seen at the September keynote, where some new features were demonstrated. If you have the Nike+ Run Club app, this update, labeled 5.9, is now available for download through the App Store.
One of the most fundamental innovations are the so-called Audio Guided Runs. This is a series of several exercises in which you will be accompanied and motivated by the voices of giants from the world of running, such as Mo Farah or Kevin Hart. Each exercise is accompanied by a commentary and a specific playlist that will be played while you run (for this, the app must be connected to an adequate music streaming service).
Another novelty is the Cheers function. Basically, you can send your friends a notification the moment you start a workout. They can react to it and virtually "support" and motivate you remotely. A similar function is also found in competitive solutions and celebrates great success especially among those who have a problem with motivation to persevere with exercise.
The history of individual exercises has also been newly revised. You will be able to view up to five recent training sessions on your Apple Watch. For Series 3 owners, there is one more little thing, they can also look at the height profile of their route without having to have their iPhone with them. The Nike+ Run Club update is available for free to download <a href="https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1932/8043/files/200721_ODSTOUPENI_BEZ_UDANI_DUVODU__EN.pdf?v=1595428404" data-gt-href-en="https://en.notsofunnyany.com/">here</a>.

I would be happy as a flea if the runs I completed with the Activity app on the Apple Watch were automatically loaded from Health. This happened to me once exactly a year ago and I was happy that it worked like that, but unfortunately it hasn't worked once since then.
Does anyone have a similar experience?
So I solved the same problem, it is possible to convert, but it is a little more difficult.
Each run needs to be separately generated into a .gpx or .tcx file. (Maybe with the help of the SpectaRun Workouts app)
Then just use the web form to upload to Nike+
So I'd rather fill it in manually in the Nike application, as I've been doing until now. But I'm sorry to know that it worked for me once, so how would I expect it to work, but was it once and for the last time?
And isn't it easier to run with Nike and then have it in Activity?
I ran with Nike+ for several years, then they ruined the app with that expensive update. I only run with a watch and I really don't trust their app for the Watch (I don't think I know an app that would really work 20% on the watch), so I really don't want to risk it falling off during a XNUMXkm workout.
Does anyone have selected playlist playback working? Can you control music directly from the app on your watch? Nothing related to music works for me in the Nike app on my watch. I have to play everything through the Music app.
