Apple picker Press Release: Niceboy introduces the new Niceboy ION smart appliances and enters a completely new Smart Home segment. Over the next year, it intends to further expand the ION series and bring users a complete smart home that can be controlled using a single app.
Save time and energy
The Smart Home category includes various electrical products and appliances that can be controlled using a mobile app. Their goal is to reduce electricity consumption, save people time and money, and overall make their lives as pleasant as possible. Controlling smart devices today is simple and intuitive, and the products themselves do not require any special care. All you have to do is pair the smart appliance with your phone, launch the app, and you can set everything as you need.
All in one app
One of the basic goals of the company niceboy was for all smart home products to be controlled using a single app. "We created our own, completely Czech Niceboy ION application, thanks to which all smart appliances are connected and can be controlled from one place," explains product manager Niceboy ION Jiří Svoboda.
So you can control smart appliances with your mobile, for example, from the comfort of the couch, and if you want, you can even set more detailed parameters for some of them. For example, for lights, you can set the intensity and color of the light, or the time on and off. Remote control is also an advantage, if you want to turn on the robotic vacuum cleaner from the comfort of the office on the other side of town, that is also easily possible.
New Niceboy ION products
The range of new appliances includes products from robotic vacuum cleaners to smart sockets. In addition, each of the categories usually includes several types of the given product, or several possible designs. What specific smart appliances does Niceboy bring in the first batch?
Robotic vacuum cleaners
In the category of robotic vacuum cleaners, Niceboy offers four types - Charles i3, Charles i4, Charles i7 and Charles i9, from a model with 7 infrared sensors to the most perfect vacuum cleaner with a laser sight and 26 infrared sensors, thanks to which it avoids all pitfalls on its way to cleaning. In the application, you can then set when and how the vacuum cleaner will vacuum or mop. And when it runs out of energy, it drives itself to the docking station to recharge.
Smart light bulbs
The Niceboy SmartBulb is available in two designs. In white (which can shine with different intensity) and colored, both types have a socket with either E14 or E27 thread. Just screw in the bulb instead of the one you normally use and then pair it with your phone via WiFi. You can then look forward to gradual dimming or colors of your choice - for example, white light for better awakening, red for the evening or for the children's room, so that it does not disturb sleep.
Personal weight
Unlike you, the smart personal scale SmartScale (in black and white) remembers how much you weighed yesterday or a month ago, so you can get a long-term overview of your results. And when you lose weight, the scale will praise you!
It can remember up to 8 household members with all their parameters. Thanks to the application, you will then be able to compare your achievements and encourage each other to a healthier lifestyle.
Smart kettle
With the SmartKettle kettle, you will be in control of the exact water temperature. Whether you need boiling water for coffee or just 70°C for green tea. It will also be appreciated by mothers of the smallest children, who can set the correct and safe temperature for preparing food for babies and toddlers as needed.
It goes without saying that the timing is correct - it can turn on at any predetermined time or even at the same time as the morning alarm clock.
Sonic brushes
The sonic brush has three types of hardness in the basic package, so everyone can test which hardness suits them right from the start. It uses up to 43 oscillations per minute and lasts up to 000 days on a single charge. You can get models with or without a mobile application, and both types are available in traditional white and discreet black.
Smart socket
Through it, you can control the switching on or off of the devices that you plug into it. Just plug it into a regular socket. And where can you use such a smart SmartPlug socket? For example, at a cottage, where the light will turn on irregularly - and no one will know that you are not there. Of course, but also at home, where in selected places it can be turned off at night and thus save energy for selected appliances. In addition, it monitors the energy consumed in weekly and monthly intervals/reports, so you can monitor energy consumption in more detail if you are interested.
How does Smart Home work in practice?
Smart Home is highly variable and of course it depends on how you set everything according to personal preferences. With the currently offered Niceboy ION products, it could look something like this in practice: You get up in the morning, and when you turn on a lamp with a smart bulb, your application will command the smart kettle to start boiling water. In the living room and kitchen, you will be greeted by pleasantly dimmed light, which will let you finish your conversation and will be fully lit within twenty minutes.
After your usual morning activities, you run to work and when you get there, you realize that you have left all the lights on and that you have to clean up after your furry pets at home. You simply launch the app that connects all the smart appliances and turn on your pre-written "I'm gone" scenario and your household will start moving. The lights in the apartment go out, but in your teenager's room, they turn on to finally get up. Thanks to the smart toothbrush, you will then find out if you have really brushed your teeth. And your robotic vacuum cleaner will come out of its charging station and start vacuuming or mopping everything left behind by the dog and cat.
Plans for the future
Niceboy wants to further expand its line of ION smart products in the following year and bring a whole range of other gadgets. All other smart products will be able to be controlled by the same Niceboy ION application. "We are now introducing individual smart appliances from the Niceboy ION range until Christmas, but next year we will expand the offer so that you can purchase a complete smart home with us," clarifies Jiří Svoboda.
