Carrot Weather is among the most popular iOS weather forecasting apps. It offers a lot of great features and options, it's reliable, highly customizable, and last but not least, it's also really funny and original. Even Apple knows this, and that's why they announced it as one of the best apps of 2021. But the most important thing here is that it provides information from multiple sources, such as Dark Sky, AccuWeather, Tomorrow.io and others.

Specifically for the Czech Republic, the ČHMÚ application, i.e. the one from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, is very useful. Of course, it contains a weather forecast for the Czech Republic, with a resolution of up to one kilometer, warnings about dangerous phenomena and a forecast of the activity of ticks, which can be active even in mild winters. The weather forecast can be displayed for the current location as well as for locations selected and saved by the user, typically municipalities, and is taken from several sources: the Aladin model, short-term forecasts, text forecasts corrected by a meteorologist, and radar data.
Yr.no
Yr is a meteorological service jointly provided by NRK and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. Of course, it provides a forecast for the whole world and is among the most accurate forecasts in the long term. It also has a long tradition, as the application has been available for over 10 years. You will also be pleased with the amount of information it provides, even in the form of graphs not only of temperature and wind, but also of pressure. The opening screen also provides an animated and very engaging view of the following hours.

The Windy application is primarily about satellite maps, which provides more than 40 types for all conceivable conditions and phenomena. A global satellite composite is created from NOAA, EUMETSAT and Himawari. The image frequency is then 5-15 minutes depending on the position. You can even have the forecast displayed for up to the next 9 days. The application also offers local ones reports from weather stations, just hold your finger on the map.

The Meteoradar application claims to be the most accurate precipitation forecast for the entire Czech Republic. It will show not only the current precipitation, but also its forecast for the next hour. There is no lack of data on current temperatures, wind direction and speed, precipitation or, of course, the state of the weather itself. The application data is then updated every 10 minutes. In addition, data from more than 150 weather stations are available on the map. You can also find out humidity or air pressure from them. For each station, the graph also shows the development of the temperature itself.

It's not bad, but even when you buy the PRO version, you can't set the user interface to your liking, it just displays what it wants and you can't turn it off, you can see disgusting applications in the widgets...
I recently switched from Android and I miss Klára's weather a bit, especially the chart for the week. Takes tusim data from yr.no. Is there an alternative on iOs?
Agreed, I ran into the same problem. He dreamed of Klara, nor Aladdin. Wouldn't there be something similar for apples?
