During the September Keynote, Apple presented, among other things, the See series for its Apple TV+ streaming service. It stars Jason Momoa and one of the central themes of the series is blindness. For maximum authenticity, Apple worked with blind or partially sighted actors, consultants and other staff on the series.

Jason Momoa has made no secret of his excitement about his latest venture - in his two Instagram posts, for example, he stated that it was his favorite acting job and also the best thing he's ever worked on - it's hard to tell if he meant by his post, that he wasn't that excited about playing for Game of Thrones, some media took it that way anyway.

Apparently, the See series will definitely not be a flop. It was directed and written by Steven Knight, who is responsible for, for example, the very popular series Peaky Blinders (Gangs from Birmingham), which receives very good reviews from viewers and experts. The series has already been in existence for six years and a total of five series, it is currently available on Netflix. Steven Knight is a guarantee of quality, but the overall success of the See series depends on a number of other factors.

The plot of the See series takes place in the distant post-apocalyptic future. As a result of an insidious virus, humanity lost its sight for many generations. Things suddenly take a completely different turn when the protagonist's children are born, gifted with sight. Born sighted children are considered a gift and the promise of a whole new world, but many insidious obstacles stand in their way.

The Apple TV+ service will officially launch on November 1st of this year.
