Apple has a fairly solid reputation, which is especially true in the North American region, i.e. in its homeland in the United States of America. It is therefore not surprising that products with the bitten apple logo appear quite often in films and TV series. For this reason, it is also practically impossible to list all the films where the apple appeared, in any case, we can still mention a few titles.

But before we look at the films and series in question, let's talk about one interesting fact that might surprise you. One such film secret was shared by the well-known director Rian Johnson, who is behind such gems as Knives Out, Star Wars: The Last Jedi or some episodes of Breaking Bad. He mentioned that Apple forbids villains from using iPhones in mystery movies. So if you're watching a drama, thriller, or similar movie genre where everyone has an Apple phone but that one person doesn't, be careful. It is quite possible that he will turn out to be a negative character. Now let's go to the individual titles.

Apple products are across genres

As we mentioned at the beginning, Apple products regularly appear in films and series of various genres, which is why it is practically impossible to mention all of them, or at least the number. Among the popular ones, we can mention, for example, the cult action film Mission: Impossible, where the main character (Tom Cruise) uses a PowerBook 540c laptop. Subsequently, in the film The True Blonde, the main protagonist is the user of an orange-and-white iBook, while you can also notice that the Apple logo is upside down from the viewer's point of view on this laptop. Among other things, the iBook has also appeared in series such as Sex in the City, Princess Diary, Friends, in the film The Glass House and in a number of others.

In quite a few pictures, we could also see the now legendary iMac G3, which naturally attracted not only the audience, but also the directors themselves with its unconventional design. That's exactly why he appeared in hits such as Men in Black 2, Zoolander, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles or How to Do It. Equally popular are MacBook Pros, which have appeared, for example, in the series The Big Bang Theory, in the films Photos are Rogues, The Devil Wears Prada, The Proposal, Oldboy and others. Finally, we must not forget to mention apple phones. It's probably no surprise that in the United States, iPhones have a greater presence (58,47%) than Android smartphones (41,2%), which is why they appear in the majority of images that originate from this country.

A place with a high concentration of Apple products

If for some reason you would like to watch movies and series in which Apple products appear, then we have one tip for you. There is a place where practically no other devices are used. We are talking about the streaming platform  TV+ from the Cupertino giant, where it is of course understandable that Apple will want to use its own space for product placement itself. However, it should be mentioned that the giant does not do this aggressively and the display of its products seems rather natural.

Ted lasso
Ted Lasso – One of the most popular series from  TV+

But it doesn't stop at simple pointing. Apple often demonstrates how its devices work at all, what capabilities they have and what they are theoretically capable of. This is precisely why we can recommend you to watch the extremely popular series Ted Lasso, which, among other things, has won numerous awards and boasts an 86% rating on the ČSFD. If you are looking for a good portion of entertainment for the Christmas break, then you should definitely not miss this film. But when watching it, pay attention to how many times Apple products actually appear in it.
