In November of last year, the music streaming service Apple Music introduced a new function called Replay - still in beta test mode. This was especially welcomed by fans of various time-lapse compilations and charts, as it brought users lists of songs that they listened to the most in a particular year. Longtime Apple Music users thus gained access to the charts for all past years.

Apple Music Replay offers users an overview of their most popular artists and how often they've listened to them. In addition, you will also find, for example, a ranking of the ten most popular albums within this function. Apple has promised to update the Replay feature once a week, so the charts will be regularly adjusted to what the user is currently listening to. Also new is the Replay Mix, a playlist that you can listen to on all your devices.

If you want to try Replay, you'll need to launch Apple Music in a web browser. If you click on this link, you will be taken directly to the Replay Mix function. Don't worry - even though Replay is only available on the web version of Apple Music, your playlist will be accessible from virtually anywhere. Just sign in to your Apple Music account on the web, click the appropriate button, and then just listen and browse lists of your favorite artists and albums. Of course, you'll only find lists here from the years you had an active Apple Music subscription. To compile a chart, just click on the "+" button for the selected year, then you can find the individual charts in the library of the Apple Music application on your devices.
