Apple has released its new operating systems. Although their primary purpose is to fix the errors that are present in them, they also bring new functions and possibilities. Recently, however, it has been quite difficult to find out what all the new versions of the systems actually provide.

When a new update comes out for your device, Apple only gives you a rough preview of what it actually brings. If we are talking about iOS 16.4, you will actually only learn about Settings: "This update brings 21 new emojis and includes other improvements, bug fixes, and security updates for your iPhone." But isn't that a bit much?

Only when you click on the offer Additional information, you will read more after all. Here is a point-by-point description of what improvements and bug fixes the update brings. Even so, something is still missing here. This is because there are some functions that are not mentioned in these notes at all, but are part of the new system. Specifically, in the case of iOS 16.4, it is the 5G Standalone function, i.e. a separate 5G, or the reintroduction of the new HomeKit architecture.

In addition, if you have automatic updates set, when your device is updated overnight, you won't even know what's new in the given system. At the same time, it is a possibility Voice isolation is quite useful and can change the quality of phone calls. But who really knows about it, let alone how to actually activate it? Apple should definitely work on the app Tips, which from time to time will alert you to some function in the new system, but certainly not to all of them, and what's more, only really suddenly.

Recently, Apple has been leaning towards the Android competition with the labels of its news. For example, Samsung will provide an exhaustive list of news if a new version of Android and its One UI is released, but if only a monthly update is released, you will learn practically nothing from its description. However, let's be happy that the update is still coming out, that they are fixing bugs and bringing some new stuff here and there. We will find out what iOS 17 will be able to do in a moment, because WWDC will take place in June, where Apple will officially present the new systems for its devices.
