Many Apple fans would certainly like to see what Steve Jobs' home office looks like, including its equipment. Now we can see his office from 2004 thanks to some older pictures that surfaced a few days ago.

I've always been interested and have wondered several times what products Steve Jobs would probably use in his office. Whether it would be only those whose development he himself participated in or whether he would also try a competing product. I also wanted to know the type of Macintosh taking up space on Steve's desk.

Now I already know the answer to all these questions. Photos from 2004 appeared on the Internet. The author is the well-known photographer Diana Walkerová, who worked for Time magazine for two decades. She photographed countless famous people: actresses Katharine Hepburn and Jamie Lee Curtis, Senator John Kerry, politicians Madeleine Albright and Hillary Clinton... In a series of portraits, she captured Steve Jobs over a period of 15 years. The 2004 images were taken in Palo Alto during Jobs' recovery from surgery to remove a tumor from his pancreas.

In a few black and white pictures, Steve Jobs is captured in the garden of his house or in his office.

Here you can see the appearance and equipment of the office. Very austere and simple furnishings, a lamp and a roughly plastered brick wall. Here you can see that Steve likes something else besides apples - minimalism. There is a rustic wooden table by the window, under which hides a Mac Pro connected to a 30-inch Apple Cinema Display with an iSight camera attached. On the table next to the monitor you can see a mouse, keyboard and scattered papers including work "mess", which is said to represent a creative mind. You can also notice a strange phone with a large number of buttons, under which the most senior people from Apple are surely hiding.

As for Steve Jobs' clothing, he is wearing his typical "uniform" of jeans and a black turtleneck. In the photos, however, he looks in somewhat better condition than the one we see him in today.

Although these are over six years old photos, I would say that thanks to them, you can get a certain picture of the workplace of the boss of an apple company. Moreover, it is not difficult to deduce from them what this office looks like at the present time. The 2004 Mac Pro could be replaced by its latest successor. Likewise, the latest Apple LED Cinema Display, Apple Magic Mouse and wireless keyboard could stand out on the wooden table. The walls, floor and table will be the same. The scattered papers and other mess certainly didn't disappear either.

If the above photos are not enough for you, you can take a look the whole gallery here.
