Until Apple has enough new watches in stock, it won't take orders for them except online. This means that in the fortnight when the Watch goes on sale, we can't expect any long queues in front of the Apple Story.
"We expect strong customer interest to exceed our initial inventory," announced in the press release, head of retail Angela Ahrendts. Only online orders will be accepted at the start of the sale. It is not yet clear when Apple will start selling watches to those who come to its stores without a reservation.
Apple will open the reservation system in selected countries already tomorrow, from tomorrow it will also be possible to make an appointment in Apple Stores and try the Watch in person before buying. Online ordering was chosen by the company to "provide the best experience and choice to as many customers as possible."
In Germany, where Czech customers are closest, reservations start on Friday after nine o'clock in the morning. If everything works as it did with iPhones in the fall, it will be possible to order an Apple Watch from us at the Apple Store in Dresden or Berlin.
what? won't there be queues? I already bought a mobile chair for the queue….
The first sign that it probably won't be any glory. They wouldn't miss the queues..
I don't understand why so many people have a view of the watch in the sense that every apple fan should want it. Shit, I don't even see this initiative from Apple (compared to, for example, a Mac - whatever or an iPhone). It's just a feature that will simplify some things for you, but nothing necessary. Buy an iPhone, a computer too. But a watch is not a productive thing, and it will be better for us and you if you have it. If not, nothing happens, the apple system (iOS and OSX) really won't require you. Eaaaaaaays. I like it, but people here just can't understand it.
how can you make a reservation for a store in Dresden? Does anyone know?
Unfortunately, this is not yet possible. http://jablickar.cz/zasoby-apple-watch-jsou-slabe-z-ceske-republiky-je-zatim-vubec-nekoupite/
