Patrik Pajer The cult Czech adventure game Samorost 1 finally got a standalone release on Steam. Eighteen years after its release, when the game was only available in a web browser, the time has finally come to add it to your game libraries. Together with the new edition, the original of the Brno studio has received a slight facelift, so you can now play it in the best possible form.

In the first Samorost, you control a dwarf who tries to prevent the collision of two planets. At its heart, it is a classic point and click adventure game, but it is highlighted by its magical formal processing. We are already used to beautiful graphics and captivating music from Amanita games, it is so nice to see where the fascination with the perfect formal page began. As we have already mentioned, the game received minor graphic changes, as well as the music. However, completely new songs were composed for the new version of the classic by the original composer Tomáš Dvořák alias Floex. He is the court composer of Amanita, you don't have to worry that the first Samorost would lose its original atmosphere.
Samorost 1 is the last part of the series that received a modified treatment. Along with each such remaster, Amanita also delivers an equally edited version on mobile platforms. If you don't want to sit at your computer while playing Samorost, you can just as well download it to your iPhone. And the best thing is that in both cases the game won't cost you a penny, because Amanita "sells" it in all stores for free.
