A new mobile application is being created that will offer customers information, current offers and discounts based on where they are. The Slovak shopping center ONE Fashion Outlet is the first in Europe to introduce this innovation. The application is developed by a Czech company to suit them madeo interactive.

iBeacon beacons

Czech digital agency madeo interactive and the first outlet center in Slovakia, ONE Fashion Outlet, joined forces to revolutionize shopping. In cooperation with Kontakt, they will place more than 100 beacons supporting Apple's iBeacon technology within the center this spring. These will make it possible to display targeted up-to-date news on customers' mobile devices at the moment and place when they will be most useful to them.

Thanks to the mobile application supporting the iBeacon technology, the shopping center will be able to offer customers more relevant information and offers and involve them in the center's events in a fun way. This way, customers will always be in the know. By tracking their preferences, they only receive the messages they really expect based on their purchasing behavior.

"As a new shopping center, we need to find new ways to attract customers. We follow new trends to always offer our customers something extra. We see this application as a unique chance to reach more customers and ensure the further growth of our center. As far as I know, we are the first shopping center in Slovakia and probably in the whole of Europe to introduce this technology," said Mr. Michal Bakoš, a partner in the company operating ONE Fashion Outlet.

"We are happy to be able to offer customers a new shopping experience. We see iBeacon technology as a great way to effectively engage customers and another way to offer them exclusive benefits. With this technology, we expect to attract younger customers in particular, who are generally harder to reach," he added.

The development of the application for the Slovak center is fully under the direction of the Czech company madeo interactive.

Beacons with iBeacon technology in connection with the unique Simitu platform, which madeo interactive has been developing for a long time, it is the perfect solution for effectively addressing customers with precise targeting according to their chosen preferences and location within the shopping center.

“This is just the beginning of what we can achieve with iBeacon technology. The future of targeted content delivery based on the user's current location is very interesting.
