We wrote about the game here a few months ago blind drive, in which you will find yourself in a really precarious situation. Blindfolded, the game puts you behind the wheel and expects you to survive on a busy highway with audio and some visual cues. Blind Drive was an experiment in game design that didn't have very big goals. On the other side is the fresh new Lost in Blindness from the developer studio Unseen Games. They promise from their new game that, in addition to making gaming accessible to blind players, it will also help others bring their everyday experience closer.

Lost in Blindness tells the story of a blind archaeologist who sets out with his friends to explore the secrets of the extinct Mayan civilization. But in the jungles of Central America, in addition to ancient mysteries and dangers, the unpredictable nature of those closest to him will await him. The main content of the game is the exploration of the already mentioned Mayan ruins, during which you will have to engage mainly your logical thinking while solving various puzzles. But you will never see. Targeting blind players, you'll only need to navigate with audio cues.

The developers put a lot of work into the audio recording. The game supports binaural audio, which faithfully conveys the perception of a three-dimensional world. Thanks to this, you can accurately imagine the game environment and the position of objects in space just with the help of sound. But this also means that you really can't do without headphones while playing Lost in Blindness. And if the audio clues weren't enough for you, the game also offers a special mode for streamers, which adds illustrations to the audio page so that they don't get lost in the story.
