Sometimes real gems can be found among computer games. And we don't mean titles that rack up game of the year awards after another (hello for the third Witcher). Projects with a promise so crazy that one wonders if their creators suffered from some kind of mental disorder can also be a creative gem. The newly released Garbage: Hobo Prophecy will probably be a case from the second barrel. This is a game that shamelessly puts you in the role of homeless people struggling to survive on the streets every day. Moreover, their opponents are not only bad outdoor conditions, lack of food or drinking water, but sometimes also other homeless people, with whom they compete in adrenaline-pumping fistfights.

Although the main themes of the game may sound uninteresting at first, Garbage: Hobo Prophecy tries to go beyond the low expectations of the players and offers interesting strategic gameplay. The daily bread of your homeless people will be to ensure warmth, hygiene and the mentioned bread here and there, and they will have to prepare for the fights that await them every night. You will therefore build various "buildings" in your own backyard, by which the developers in this game mean little things like a shelter made of boards and pieces of rags or a fire pit for heating food and your homeless squad. However, the developers also put a lot of emphasis on practicing skills for fights.

The game hides an elaborate upgrade system that allows you to choose from up to a thousand different combat skills. You can decorate each member of your team exactly to your liking. However, even with all its systems in place, the game looks like a genuine "B" that doesn't intend to pull people's noses and admits from the screenshots what it actually is - a fun, relaxing game, but you probably won't last more than a few hours. But why not give it a try when the game is available for free?
