A digital version of another well-known board game has made its way to macOS. This time, the Railroad Ink Challenge earned the transfer, in which you guide train sets using correctly drawn tracks. It is reminiscent of another record hit Ticket to Ride, but unlike it, you get much more freedom in the new game and, as a bonus, an original asynchronous multiplayer mode.

Railroad Ink Challenge allows you to roll the dice each round and expand your railroad network based on the number rolled. Your main goal will be connecting the individual exits, as you get points for each link created in this way at the end of the game. On the contrary, the game will deduct points for building a route and not completing it. In Railroad Ink Challenge, however, you are not only waiting for such a simple connecting of exits. On the game board you will also find buildings that provide special bonuses.

But what kind of board would Railroad Ink Challenge be if it didn't offer a multiplayer mode. In addition to solo play with random objectives, the game also features an asynchronous multiplayer mode. It allows you to play alone, but with clearly defined goals. The system will then upload your game to the server, where other live players will try to beat your final score. The game does not offer a local multiplayer version, but that is a sad rule in the world of digital boards.
