Next year, the cult series The X-Files will celebrate twenty-five years since the filming of the pilot episode. As part of this anniversary, a completely new, 11th series is planned, which will be broadcast in January. Next month, a game will also be released on the iOS and Android platforms, which will be strongly connected to the series (and also to its new series). It will be called X-Files: Deep State and will be released on February 6, 2018.

The game is presented as a mystery adventure game in which you play as an FBI special agent who investigates unusual cases. Within the game, we can look forward to classic adventure and RPG game elements, as well as various puzzles, collecting objects, questioning suspicious persons and everything else that has something to do with the investigation of murders and paranormal phenomena.

The game will take place between the series' 9th and 10th seasons, sometime around 2010. The main storyline will revolve around an alien invasion of the human population and conspiracy theories about the government. There will also be several missions within the game that will correspond directly to what viewers will see on their screens in January.

The game should be available for free, but it will contain the microtransactions that are so popular today. The home page of the game currently only offers a simple countdown with a form for sending a newsletter. This will probably come to you as the game nears its release date.
