Apple has bought a startup AI Music, which might not be out of the ordinary, since the company buys a startup almost every three weeks. But this one is somehow different. At AI Music, they have developed a platform capable of creating songs with the help of artificial intelligence. Yes, it's nothing too new either, but here the AI can create audio tracks dynamically and based on how the device interacts with you in real time.

But what does that mean? Simply that the AI Music algorithm can adapt to your heartbeat. At first glance it may seem like useless nonsense, but the opposite is true. Before the startup's website was taken down, it said that it provides tailor-made solutions for marketers, publishers, fitness professionals, creative agencies and many others thanks to Infinite Music Engine and other startup-owned technologies. But now it belongs to Apple and Apple can literally do crazy things with it.

Of course, he refused to comment on the acquisition in any way, so we do not know the amount paid, nor the plans for integration into his technologies. Nevertheless, it seems that Apple is working on major improvements to the Apple Music service, as already in August 2021 it also bought the service Primephonic dealing with classical music. In addition, the trial period of the service was also reduced from three to one month. So, as it stands, there's quite a lot going on around Apple Music, and it's probably not over yet.

Really own radio

In Apple Music, you will find a lot of content, as well as different themed playlists. If the company could somehow implement the startup's AI Music innovation into its platform, it would mean that in addition to its own radio that learns to play content based on your interaction with the platform, you'd have a radio that sounds like you. And it would sound in real time, based on how physically active you would be.

If you were just sitting in the office, the rhythms would be played at a medium tempo, but as soon as you exercised and your heart rate increased, of course the tempo of the music itself would increase. On the other hand, if you were about to go to sleep and were appropriately muted, the music being played would correspond to that, which would be generated in real time in connection with the Apple Watch, ideally not only according to your heart rate, but also the current time.

Background sounds

If Apple failed to implement this in Apple Music, there is another way. In iOS, you can find the Background sounds function (Settings -> Accessibility -> Audiovisual aids). Here you can play balanced, treble, deep rumble, ocean, rain or stream sounds. This is, of course, an aid for those who suffer from some kind of hearing impairment, because these sounds can be played simultaneously with the media (you can also add it to the Control Center for quick access to the function).

Combined with the constant talk of improving the technology in the AirPods, it would be quite possible to automatically detect a hearing disorder such as Tinnitus and define the exact frequency of this ringing in the ears and create the opposite frequency for it, thereby shielding it. similar to active noise cancellation.

Since there is also speculation that Apple could bring its own relaxation application in the next iOS, it would be ideal to connect the above in one place rather than integrating this technology into Apple Music. However, quite logically, the application would also be found in the Fitness+ platform, as well as in the HomePod, which could automatically generate sounds according to pre-defined information.
