Apple picker Allianz pojišťovna already has several applications in the App Store, but in August it released another one - it is called Na cesty s Kolbaba and, in addition to offering travel insurance, it will provide users with very handy information and tips for traveling around the world...
The application is intended for everyone who likes to travel and also for fans of the famous traveler Jirka Kolbaba, who is the main face of the entire application.
"Travels with Kolbaba" is dominated by a world map, on which all European countries are marked, as well as several others such as the United States, Cuba, Egypt or Tunisia. In short, the countries to which Czech travelers most often go.
For each state you will find detailed information, starting with the capital and ending with road rules. Jirka Kolbaba also always has a short profile ready, and if he is available, you can also listen to his talk in the form of a podcast, which is regularly broadcast by Rádio Impuls. The list of podcasts and countries will gradually expand and be updated regularly.
For Croatia, for example, thanks to the application from Allianz, you will find out that the capital is Zagreb, the currency is the Croatian kuna and that Croatia has over four million inhabitants. In an emergency, contacts to the embassy and the emergency line may be free. The average temperatures in the individual seasons are of interest, and drivers will welcome the basic rules of operation (allowed speeds, daytime running lights, permitted per mile). Jirka Kolbaba already provides additional points of interest and advice for the trip from his experience.

And it didn't give me a discount for my vacation in Slovakia. The price was the same as on the website, so crap... :-( however, I always deal with travel with Allianz, so it just disappointed me.
