I certainly don't need to introduce the Monopoly game. It is about a very widespread social game, which was published and is still published in many different forms, in addition to ordinary Monopoly, e.g. Monopoly - Lord of the Rings Edition, Monopoly - Star Wars Edition, but mostly Monopoly is localized to the place of publication (Monopoly Berlin, Monopoly Japan, etc.).

The principle of the game is similar to the game Racing and betting – with the help of a figure, the player moves along the game plan, buys individual cities (or streets) and then collects rent for them if another player's figure steps on them. If the player gets a whole set of cities (streets) in the same color, he can start building houses and hotels on them, and the rent collected increases many times. The goal of the game is to capture as many cities and streets as possible and build as many houses on them as possible to bankrupt the opponents.

Monopoly has always been one of mine the most popular board games, and when I heard about the release of this game on the iPhone, I didn't believe that anyone would actually want to play it on it - after all, it completely loses the magic of the board game.. And that's why I was surprised to find out that in fact there are Monopoly on iPhone even better than the real thing!

The whole game plan is in very nice 3D environment, the characters really move when moving on the game board (so the toy car drives, etc.) and a really big plus is that if you need to end the game, you don't have to clean anything anywhere (those who have played Monopoly will surely tell me that cleaning up all those cards, money, characters and houses is really a lot of work), just turn off the game and the next time you start it you can play from the moment you left off.

Since I'm quite comfortable, I also liked the fact that I don't have to count anything at all and I don't have to constantly put money in the bank and exchange (as I was used to with classic Monopoly). They can play in the game maximum of four players, both humans and computer-controlled opponents (here you can choose from three difficulty levels). But this seemed to me to be the biggest disadvantage of the game - if two (or more) people play together, they have to either pass iPhones to each other (which is a bit inconvenient - from my own experience), or play each on their own iPhones via a local wi-fi network (but not over the internet).

Other minuses are rather small things - for example, artificially controlled opponents are a bit "hard", because quite often they give same offer to trade (which is disadvantageous to me and thus still rejected), and at all difficulty levels (although one would expect the higher the difficulty, the more intelligent the opponents).

Overall, I really enjoyed the game and would definitely pick it up recommended to everyone – although it can take a bit of the fun out of interacting with others. Despite the higher price of $7.99, I do not regret the purchase in the slightest.
