Jan Zdarsa MoneyDnes is the first Czech iPhone application that is primarily intended for entrepreneurs. MoneyDnes contains a number of tools that significantly facilitate the life of users from the corporate sphere. In this iPhone application you will find, for example, an excellent exchange rate calculator, a search in the business or trade register, verification of the tax identification number within the EU, a tax calendar and a brief info service.
The exchange rate calculator downloads the current exchange rates every time it is started, but it remembers the last downloaded data, so it can be used offline as well. In the original setting, it downloads rates from the CNB, where only midpoint rates are available. However, you can also set up downloading of complete courses from ČSOB. I probably couldn't find a better exchange rate calculator for the Czech Republic in the Appstore. Simple, clear, in short, what I expect from her. If I wanted to search for errors with mermpower, I would perhaps welcome the possibility to switch from recalculation according to the exchange rate to sales, for example.
The search in the commercial and trade register works perfectly and you can easily find exactly what you are looking for. When you click on the person or company you are looking for, you will learn details such as the legal form, address and probably everything else that you could find out about the company in the ARES database. Even the TIN search works exactly as described.
Thanks to the tax calendar, you will always have an overview of when you have to pay as an entrepreneur. Many people will certainly appreciate this, we don't have to look for it everywhere on the Internet. But since, for example, I don't pay taxes monthly, it is unnecessary for me to see the obligation to pay the monthly tax every month. If it could be set somewhere, it would be much clearer. In the info service, on the other hand, you will get valuable advice for everyone.
But in the whole article I did not mention the last module called Accounting. This model serves you the most important data from your information system directly on the iPhone. You thus have a summary overview of issued invoices, liabilities and receivables, received orders and cash flow at your disposal at any time and anywhere. MoneyDnes downloads this data via secure communication directly from your system. It currently supports Money S3, Money S5 and Karat systems. Support for other systems is being prepared.
Personally, I like this initiative of Cígler Software very much and I have to rate it really positively. I only have a few complaints. For example, I would appreciate the option to set a larger font size and also avoid dark blue headings on a black background. The smaller font was chosen for design and clarity, but some people might struggle with this size. It would also be convenient to release the exchange rate calculator as a separate application, which would certainly be welcomed by many users (not everyone is an entrepreneur and needs the rest). But overall, I praise the developer, this is a really high-quality application!

It behaves quite unstable for me and I know more about the application for recalculating the exchange rate (I just don't download the exchange rates from CNB), but I manage it better and there is no need to transfer through CZK (here, for example, I will not directly convert USD to EUR).
I don't have to track when what I have to pay and what has changed in terms of laws (I have an accountant for that), but those reports are good, unfortunately useless for me (but due to my accounting system, it will not be a problem to give similar reports via the web).

It looks nice and useful. The letters are sometimes really small and the essential information seems to be lost in the overview of the course - how much. It could be bigger there and put to the right to make it stand out more. Otherwise, after a few minutes it just fell off, I don't know why, I didn't really want anything after that. Otherwise, it's a really good thing for free.
