If you want to get closer to the console experience when playing on mobile phones and are a fan of action games, then Modern Combat 5: Blackout is the clear choice on iPhones and iPads. Gameloft has prepared a big spring update for its shooter, which brings many new features.
Undoubtedly, the biggest one is the transition to the so-called freemium model, where the game (for the first time in history) is free in the App Store, but the player is limited by energy while playing. Once he has played a certain number of missions, he has to wait until his energy is replenished or buy it with real money.
Fortunately, Gameloft hasn't forgotten about its loyal players who bought Modern Combat 5: Blackout earlier. He granted all existing users the rank of Veteran, which guarantees unlimited energy and other benefits including 200 free credits.

On the game side, the spring update brings a new game mode for multiplayer, a new class of soldiers and a whole set of new weapons.
In multiplayer, you can now have fun in a mode called Zone Control, in which three flags are placed on the map and two teams face each other. You must first capture each flag and then protect it from the enemy. The more flags you check, the faster your team gets points.
Newly, in the fifth installment of Modern Combat, you can play as a medic who can heal wounded colleagues and at the same time has completely new weapons at his disposal. After all, each class got a new set of weapons.
Those who are not comfortable with touch screen control can now finally connect Bluetooth controllers, Gameloft has added support for MFi controllers to Modern Combat 5.

But you can only play with an internet connection... This is quite limiting
A new dose of fun in the FTP model?
What would those who bought the game and now have the same shit as everyone else say about it?
You can also check that for free.
To be honest, this kind of pissed me off :-)
MC4 absolutely the best, I didn't regret a single cent... but this fucking freemium, I'd beat the hell out of it... it completely spoiled my impression of the whole series. MC5 stopped entertaining me very quickly, graphically it's great, but otherwise... story about nothing, concept about nothing. I'm sorry for the wasted money... for a person who gets it for free, it's probably great...
Well, let them continue nicely with the established plan to remake everything into a freemium model.
This is how they destroyed the last Asphalt, Dungeon Hunter and now Modern Combat. Even though I bought it and I'm a veteran, so I won't be limited by any energy, I'll probably delete the game, because this is really a pig on the part of Gameloft just in principle. I wish this a big loss of players and sales, because they deserve nothing else for the way they behaved towards a fairly well-established game series...
