Z Press Releases Vodafone CZ on new "revolutionary" tariffs:
"We believe that the new tariff structure is clear and transparent at first glance. We focus on three main value packages that, according to our research and detailed analysis of customer behavior, will meet the needs of the vast majority of customers," says Fernando Alves da Costa-Cabral, Vodafone's director of pricing.
According to the analysis, the Czech user obviously wants overpriced packages with a lousy data plan. Judge for yourself - 100 minutes, unlimited SMS and 300 MB of data for CZK 599, 300 minutes, unlimited SMS and 600 MB of data for CZK 999 or 600 minutes, unlimited SMS and 1,2 GB of data for CZK 1. The biggest revolution is supposed to be the per-second rate, which is standard elsewhere in Europe. Thus, Czech Vodafone has definitely confirmed to us that we need a fourth operator as a scrounger.
Well, I guess... Starting with the lowest package at 399 crowns?! :YES, 1+1 billing is fine, it's fair, but it should be completely self-evident for all flat rates... Conditions will slowly improve with all domestic operators, but only the 4th one will change the price :P
Only when it improves to the maximum, i.e. to the level of Europe, I'll fart in the dirt a long time ago :)
Ha ha, this is what was said when the second one came, then the third one, then Ufon and then some fourth one. Good luck waiting :-)
So the issue here is that the fourth operator will use the new frequency that was created by the digitization of television broadcasting. Previous operators did not have such conditions. The only important thing is that a new entity gets the frequency and not the building operators, who of course are afraid of competition and participate in the selection process.
Otherwise, they only welcome unlimited fup, especially iphone users, more than free sms. I mostly write imessage or use hot-spot.
When they give 100 SMS, 100 minutes and unlimited FUP for CZK 499, I will consider it a revolution.
And how much is this offer different??? A kilo more expensive, FUP lower, but still free SMS. So what are you dealing with??? Lots of people would rather receive free sms than a higher FUP.
And by what do you judge? Today, when people start using smart phones and apps to send messages and make calls over the Internet for free, that's why mobile internet will always be expensive here :( unlimited sms at your disposal, unlimited internet and over 100 minutes for free at a reasonable price and that will be a revolution.
Well, for €40 in Slovakia we have unlimited access to all networks, unlimited SMS and MMS and unlimited internet... Per-second pricing is a common standard... In the Czech Republic, it's actually on the fourth operator, but that's extorting people... And I don't like the operators' offers on But compared to Slovakia, it's incredibly nice... ;-)
And how much does milk cost you? Ha ha :-D The main thing is that you make a cheap call :-D
And how many liters of milk do you drink per month? Here, the main issue was always how much a roll and a liter of milk cost, and not important things...
Like a cunik squirm :D
Perhaps we don't really need another one, but rather a functioning Telecommunications Office, which is supposed to monitor the operation of operators. And it is also primarily up to us, the customers. If we don't like something, let's protest, cancel contracts...
"Revolution"… dummies :) It would be a revolution if the mobile connection speed didn't drop to 0 after the FUP runs out…
and what about this ... for €22 .. for us 300 minutes in the Czech Republic and 1000 sms to the EU cell for an "amazing" price ..
https://www.orange.at/Content.Node/tarife/tarife-ohne-handy/supernet-europa-sim-only/
and all the road "operators" can just pinch the SIM card
.. and will the fourth one really be an operator or just another scrounger at the trough?
it would be enough to get tough on the operators when negotiating the contract. We have a commitment of 4.000 CZK/month, 6 numbers in the group and a tariff of 550 free minutes, 200 SMS and FUP 10 GB for 990 CZK, and we can add any number of numbers to the group at any time under the same conditions.
Personally, I think the price can be lowered. In addition, the possibility of calling abroad within free minutes and billing by the second... Truly a revolution for us.
And the price can really be lowered, you just have to know how to deal with the crap. :-)
Operators are nice bastards. They know very well that they basically have a monopoly and they make good use of it. I was with Vodafone for about 5 years. When a friend offered me a call from TMT and left Vodafone, they called and tried to get me back at any cost. When I told them that what they give me in the package, I can get it at half price at TMT, then suddenly it worked for them as well. I say: why haven't you offered me this in the 5 years I've been with you? You made me pay all this time for a crappy package? The answer was blunt: you didn't ask for a discount. Quite a lot of power.. So my advice is: whatever operator you have, give them a little warning that you'll go elsewhere and they'll give you a substantial discount because it's not worth it for them to lose you. They have a whole rescue program and a department of people for those cases when you want to go somewhere else. It's still worth it to them to give you a substantial discount rather than lose you as an honest payer.
Yes Yes…..
