If the use of QR codes is really effective in any area, it is payments in mobile banking. If you have to pay, for example, a slip that has a QR code, all you have to do is scan it and the mobile application will fill in all the relevant fields for you. The Platby QR application offers a simple option to use payment codes for personal purposes as well.
Everything works very simply. You first save your bank accounts in the Payments QR application, which are clearly arranged on the main page with your description and the logo of the bank in question.
Then, when you want to create a payment QR code for an account, you click on it, enter the amount, optionally a variable symbol and/or a message for the recipient, and click "QR code". The app will instantly generate a personal payment QR code that you can show to a friend or send via iMessage, Messenger, e-mail and other services.
At a time when most Czech banks already support payments via QR code in their mobile applications, the Platby QR application is a handy tool to further simplify the payment process between friends (and anyone else), whether it is debt repayment or expense calculations in bar.
The application from Czech developers is available completely free of charge and nothing should be changed about it. On the contrary, in the future we can also expect an application for the Watch, when it will be possible to generate a code directly on the wrist, and on iPhones support for 3D Touch and faster access to the creation of payment QR codes.

And what is new or special about it? The option to pay with a QR code has been included in the Servis 24 application for a long time
The application is not about payment itself, but about generating QR codes for subsequent payment. Precisely because today basically every banking application supports QR code payment, the application is useful.
But for many months, if not years, Servis 24 has been able to generate the QR code using the "pay me" option. And I doubt that the ČD app is the only one that can do it.
It's certainly great that applications from ČS can generate the code. However, this is definitely not the rule, and many banking applications cannot do this. Air Bank's app might be able to do it too, but the sharing options are terrible. In addition, I have to log in tediously (they don't support Touch ID yet). The application is certainly not for everyone (which it is), but I believe that it will find its users.
Otherwise, it is interesting that on the same day a "review" was also created on a competing website. The fact that the developer is a friend of the editor and did not have to pay for the advertisement does not mean that it should not be marked as a commercial article.
