We don't mean Black Friday discounts, or various events tied to options that Apple provides only in its home market. We are referring to special offers within Apple TV+, i.e. a video streaming platform operating worldwide, but offering certain content only in a certain market.

Specifically, we are talking about the Charlie Brown and Thanksgiving special. The Apple TV+ platform has been the home of this popular children's series since its inception, including new original series. From time to time, a special is also published related to a different holiday or event, such as New Year's, the first day of school or Thanksgiving.

Although these specials are not then available on television, Apple offers free windows for them on its platform, where you can see this content even if you do not subscribe to the platform. But it has no meaning for the domestic viewer. This special free content is only available to US users of the platform. So if you want to see the Snoopy special, you have to subscribe to the service or use the three-month trial period.

Schizophrenia has a name Apple TV+

If you have a US Apple ID and want to watch Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving for free, you can do so from November 23-27 via this link. If you have a Czech Apple ID, you can of course look at it as well, but only as part of an active subscription. If you're signed in with your Apple ID in Safari, you're not even given the free play offer. If you are not logged in, you can already see Play Free Movie here. But as soon as you click on this offer and log in with your Apple ID, you're out of luck again.

Apple is pushing its service a lot, even if it is far behind its competition with its content offer, probably the fame after this year's Oscar awards went to his head very quickly. Not only has he raised the price of his subscription, but he allows himself to prioritize the domestic viewer over the one outside the US, which is simply not good. It can be assumed that the same will be the case with other planned specials in the future, and thus we will certainly not receive any bonus from Apple in the Czech Republic.
