After almost two years when Microsoft bought the Wunderlist app, its users already know definitively what the future of the popular to-do list is and, above all, what it looks like. Microsoft introduced a new To-Do application that will replace Wunderlist in the future.

The new To-Do task book at Microsoft was developed by the team behind Wunderlist, so we can find many similarities in it. In addition, everything is at the beginning and other functions will be added - because Microsoft has so far only released a public preview, which users can already test on the web, iOS, Android and Windows 10.

For now, Wunderlist users can rest easy. Microsoft won't shut it down until it's absolutely certain that it has ported all of the essential functionality that Wunderlist customers have grown accustomed to into To-Do. At the same time, To-Do offers the import of all tasks from Wunderlist for an easier transition.

To-Do will also want to be a simple task manager for managing tasks, creating reminders and managing projects. One of the main features of To-Do is supposed to be My Day, which always shows you at the beginning of the day what you have planned for the day, combined with intelligent planning.

Microsoft included a smart algorithm in the new to-do list that "will make sure you always have an overview of what needs to be done and help you plan your whole day so that everything fits together." For example, if you forgot to do a task yesterday, smart suggestions will remind you again.

But it is even more important for Microsoft that To-Do was developed in close integration with Office. The app is built on Office365 and is fully Outlook integrated for now, meaning your Outlook tasks can sync with To-Do. In the future, we can also expect the connection of other services.

But for now, To-Do is not ready for live use, its Preview is not yet available on Mac, iPad or Android tablets, sharing lists and more is not available. On site, iPhones, Android a Windows 10 but users can already test it.
