Michal Marek Facebook is slowly rolling out a new version of its Messenger to the App Store. As part of this, a completely new look of the home screen comes, which now offers not only a simple overview of conversations, but also quick access to favorite contacts and people who are currently active. In addition, on the new home screen, which Facebook now calls "Home", you will also find an overview of people whose birthdays are on that day.
"Until today, most inboxes didn't offer a user experience that matched how people communicate with each other today," Facebook writes on its blog. "So we thought about how we could make it simpler and easier to start a new conversation."
