Adam Kos Is a quarter a year too much or too little? Apple introduced the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max in September of last year, and now we have the beginning of January 2023, and when it comes to using the most fundamental visual change of the series, i.e. Dynamic Island, it is still stuck.
Apple needs a community of developers to perfect its features. More precisely, Apple will show us a feature that is initially limited to its titles, and to get its full potential, third-party application developers need to adopt it and integrate it into their solutions. Without it, the result is half-baked, when the given function works only in certain cases and for a certain use, and this definitely does not add to the user experience.

When Apple came up with Dynamic Island, it made one mistake. He didn't give developers access to it right from the start. They could use it for their solutions up to iOS 16.1. But nothing much has changed since October 24 last year. Developers are still cautious and rather waiting, although who knows what. It's more likely that they're looking into how Dynamic Island would be useful to them and if there's any way to address it at all, when only two iPhone models out of the company's wide smartphone portfolio offer it anyway.

Dynamic Island is a coveted improvement to the necessary cutout that iPhones have had since the iPhone X, which practically only changed once in iPhone 13. But the WOW effect that originally appeared with it has actually already fallen. After a month, however, you get tired of it rather successfully and you don't take it as something more than a cut-out. After the applications on the Android platform were released, which successfully imitate it, everything went quiet. So it looks as if no one really cares about this news anymore.
