Engadget published alleged images of the new iPad ahead of the keynote, and upon closer inspection, the iPad appeared to include a webcam. During the keynote, it was revealed that these images of the iPad were real, and that's what the iPad really looks like. Only the webcam was not mentioned anywhere. Until now.
The CultofMac server investigated the entire keynote in detail and noticed that the iPad held by Steve Jobs on the stage was slightly different than it was later shown to journalists. In one shot (time 1:23:40) in the keynote, the iPad Steve Jobs is holding appears to also have a webcam. It is strikingly similar to the classic iSight webcam known from Mac computers. In addition, there were signs in iPhone OS 3.2 that the iPad might have a webcam.
In addition, service company Mission Repair announced today that it has already received parts to repair the iPad, and the iPad bezel has a place for the iSight webcam. It is said to be the same shape and size as the bezel on Macbooks.
So will the iPad be sold with a webcam or does someone just want to be visible? To me, the bezel doesn't look Apple-like at all. Why wouldn't Apple include a webcam in the specs and not even talk about it during the keynote? We will definitely continue to inform you about a possible webcam in the iPad!
I don't see much reason for the iPad to have a website. What is it there for? I think it could be for the sensor to automatically adjust the backlight of the display.

If the frame is correct, then it is exactly in the shape of the iSight camera... and the webcam would be great for video calls, for which the iPad would be great :)
At the moment when I would use the iPad to talk (Skype, etc.), the iPad would probably be lying on the table, at most in the dock. That means it wouldn't be aimed at me and held at a height in front of my head? I'd rather marry another for the pleasure of seeing me. The other thing is that if I was going to be in the shot, it would be from a pretty big soffit - nobody looks good like that.
Automatic brightness adjustment would be much more useful in my opinion (but obviously not as attractive). Soon he will have a website and an ashtray to sell.
However, many people call with a laptop on their lap - for example, parents with their children abroad.. The iPad is much more comfortable in this regard - lighter, it won't play as much and easier for parents to control.. this is the right direction for the iPad..
exactly, if the iPad had a built-in camera + card reader, I would immediately buy it for my parents. My mother, an absolute technical genius, was able to control my iPhone without any problems, and above all, she was not afraid to use it. What can't be said about my old HTCs.
parents practically only use the PC to surf the web, e-mail + Skype with their children. The iPad would be connected to wifi all day, and instead of waiting for the big PC to start up, this device would be right at hand.
a netbook is out of the question, because guys usually have big hands (father) and the keyboards on them are quite uncomfortable, although I'll see live how the keyboard on the iPad will be.

Apple is simply apple, there are two possibilities why it won't present it to her straight away, the first is that something isn't perfect and they won't introduce an imperfect product, even though it seems unlikely to me, it suits Apple better that they will be secretive for a while longer. The second will present it without a camera, they will wait for a standing ovation, after all everyone wants a webcam for Skype and similar applications seem absolutely ideal to me, you are reading a book in AN and suddenly someone you know will call you, what do you do, you just "tap" on the screen and start talking and see you :-) And exactly in this idea, Apple will introduce the camera in the device in the final product :-) and it will be great again :-) (I am not an opponent of apple products, I had an iphone 3G, I have a macbook pro 15″ 2,8 ,3 Ghz, magic mouse and iPod shuffle (XNUMXrd generation) I use everything to the greatest satisfaction)

I can imagine a web camera and its functions on an iPad. But what I can't imagine is how a person would hold it to be able to talk and be seen at the same time. It would be terrible. only with the help of a stand or the docking station, but it is at an angle. It definitely doesn't have to be there for me

I see the iPad as a piece of furniture for the bed, the couch, etc
camera direct to the user. On the other hand, I can't imagine him climbing on the table..
yes, but there will simply be one or two outstretched hands holding the iPad in some position in the camera perspective. well, we'll see, but we'll find out in a "few" days from the world, and maybe it will be in the Czech Republic within half a year :-)
