The new generation has outgrown all its predecessors to a considerable extent, this can be seen most with the iPhone 6 Plus. It has an even bigger display, a bigger battery, costs a bit more money and… you'll need a bigger data plan to go with it.
No, this is not a condition of purchase, but from Citrix measurements (PDF) revealed that iPhone 6 Plus owners use twice as much data as iPhone 6 owners. If we were to compare data consumption with the old iPhone 3GS, the difference is tenfold.
Why this is so is not difficult to justify. The type of data transferred through the iPhone 6 Plus is very similar to that directed to tablets. Multimedia content is consumed to a greater extent because it is more enjoyable to watch on a larger display. A larger display will also help to browse the web more comfortably or ensure better readability when navigating in the car.
At the same time, thanks to its 5,5-inch display, it is such a versatile device that it can handle more things beyond the reach of a Mac or iPad. Many users will use the iPhone 6 Plus for their work outside the home. And the more activities are carried out over the Internet today, the more data consumption logically increases. It also increases many times if you have a faster mobile connection. It is not at all difficult to notice a faster consumption of the data limit when browsing over LTE.

Vodafone has a tariff with 20 GB FUP, after exceeding the FUP, surfing and classic web browsing will not slow down.
I can't tell you from whom I have unlimited data, but only that it will cost me about 150 CZK per month. :D (and I'm not really a telephone employee). And in Prague it's about 80 MB/s (so it's not slowed down either)... :D
So shove them in your ass, and don't write here how you can't tell anyone.
