Apparently, Huawei is also reading the rumors that have been appearing on the Internet lately. And to beat Apple, it launched its latest MagicBook Pro with a sixteen-inch display.

While Apple has yet to start production of its 16" MacBook Pro, Huawei is already done. The Chinese manufacturer revealed its MagicBook Pro 16,1". The notebook is equipped with a display with 100% sRGB color range and offers powerful hardware.

The entire design of the MagicBook Pro seems to have fallen out of the eye of the current MacBook Pro. But the Chinese added a drop of their own invention. The screen bezels are thus only 4,9 mm wide, and Huawei calls the computer "the first laptop with a frameless screen". After all, the expected notebook from Apple should also have narrower frames, as dictated by current trends.

The GizChina server also adds the technical parameters of the just presented MagicBook Pro. It is 130 g lighter than the 15" MacBook Pro. The computer weighs 1,7 kg. The notebook is also equipped with a total of seven sensors that monitor the internal temperature. Huawei also boasts low noise (roughly 25 dB), 14-hour battery life, and dual-antenna Wi-Fi with a maximum theoretical speed of 1 Mbps. There is also a full-fledged backlit keyboard or a front camera inserted directly into the screen. It's touch-sensitive, by the way.

The top model relies on an Intel Core i7-8565U with 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The installed graphics card is NVidia GeForce MX250.

A cheap copy of the MacBook Pro with a Chinese admixture

Don't you think the parameters are too bombastic? But you can get all this for 6 yen, or some 199 CZK without tax. You can even buy the version with a Core i20 processor for CZK 650. And you don't have to wait long, because the computers will be available on July 5.

Of course, the new MagicBook has several disadvantages for Czech customers. If we ignore the cheap copying of Apple laptops, the potential buyer will have problems mainly with the warranty. In addition, the processors used are U-type, i.e. low-voltage ULV, which are not very powerful. After all, this is also the source of the stated high battery life.

Huawei hastened this year and did not leave much space for Apple in the domestic market. The question remains what the response to the just introduced MagicBook Pro 16,1" will be outside of China.
