It is always useful to have an overview of the current and upcoming weather. While there is a native app for iPhones and iPads, it's a bit more complicated with Macs. Fortunately, there are a number of third-party apps available for those who want to have weather information displayed on their Mac screen as well. One of them is Weather Dock – a useful tool that provides you with all the required data clearly and reliably.
The Weather Dock application shows you the current day's weather along with a brief forecast for the next three days in a transparent, clear and good-looking panel. In the left part of the panel, you will find details about the perceived temperature, air humidity, wind speed, rain, sunset and sunrise times and other parameters.
In the application settings, you can determine in which units individual data should be displayed, how fast the image animation should be, or turn off this animation completely. You will also find the option to enter the location manually, as well as the option to set automatic location detection. Weather Dock is free in the default settings described above.
