The Shazam application, which has been owned by Apple for several years, is certainly used by the vast majority of us mainly on their iPhones, but there is also a version for Macs - and it is this version that we will take a closer look at in our article today. The capabilities of Shazam (and not only) on Mac go a little further than just recognizing the name and artist of the song currently playing in your immediate vicinity.

Shazam on Mac can also easily and simply direct you to, for example, the text of the song being played, to music videos, or perhaps to the music streaming service Apple Music, where you can then listen to the song in its entirety and possibly include it in one of your lists songs. In addition, the Shazam app for Mac - just like on iPhone - offers the ability to browse your search history, as well as manage it. Of course, there is support for system-wide dark mode in the environment of the macOS operating system and the ability to quickly and easily launch the Shazam application by clicking on the corresponding icon on the toolbar at the top of your Mac screen. Shazam for Mac can also be set to start automatically when you turn on your Mac.
The operation of the Shazam application in the environment of the macOS operating system is completely trouble-free, the application works reliably, and many users will certainly appreciate the possibility of working with the application on a larger screen than the one offered by the iPhone.
