Every day, in this column, we will bring you a more detailed look at a selected application that has just caught our attention. Here you will find applications for productivity, creativity, utilities, but also games. It won't always be the hottest news, our goal is primarily to highlight apps that we think are worth paying attention to. Today we will introduce Pocket – a multi-platform space for storing a variety of content.

While surfing the web every day, we come across interesting content every now and then that we don't want to miss - articles, reports, video images... But we don't always come across this content when we have the right conditions to view it. In such moments, Pocket comes into play - a great place where you can neatly save any content for later viewing.

Pocket exists not only in the version for Mac, which we will show you in this article, but also for iPhone and iPad. If you have Pocket associated with the same account on all devices, the continuity of saving and viewing content works great. You can sort the articles, videos or pictures you save in Pocket into categories based on the labels you assign. One of the biggest advantages of Pocket is that you can access your saved content offline, which makes it possible to work with it even in places where you don't have an internet connection. Content is always stored without any distractions.

In a clear and pleasant interface, you can customize the application's options and set, for example, that content will be downloaded by Pocket only if your device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. Of course, it is possible to share saved content not only by e-mail or on social networks, but also to platforms such as Evernote. A nice bonus is highlighting selected content or offering recommended articles based on what you've already saved. The basic version of Pocket will most likely be more than enough for the average user, with an upgrade to the Premium version you will get a number of useful extra features, such as advanced search, label suggestions or a permanent library. Extensions for Chrome, Safari and Firefox web browsers are a great addition to the Pocket application. Those who access saved content late at night will certainly appreciate the ability to instantly switch the app to dark mode.

The premium version works on the basis of a regular subscription in the variant 119/month or 1050/year.
