Vratislav Holub macOS 13 Ventura compatibility has triggered an extensive discussion among Apple users. On the occasion of today's developer conference WWDC 2022, Apple presented us with a new version of the operating system for Macs, which brings a number of interesting novelties, improvements for productivity and gaming, and an overall focus on continuity. But the question is which Apple computers are actually compatible. This is what started the aforementioned discussion, as some older models lost support. So let's take a look at the detailed list.

Apple people always talk about how Apple has a very long support... 5 years (since 2017) but it's not much (for Apple). Or even just 4 years (mac mini / macbook air)…

This May, Apple released a security update for the three latest versions of its operating systems (thus offering support for them), the oldest of which, Catalina, says the oldest compatible computers are from 2012). However, it's probably not worth measuring your pins.
Support is. You just can't install newer macOS. It doesn't seem so terrible to me. I don't work on older machines anymore anyway. They have a slow intel processor and upgrading to a faster one is not possible anyway. I consider it a miracle that the MacPro from 2013, which I use occasionally, has finally been discontinued. Even last year's MacOS was surprisingly installed there. :) 2013-2022 is a pretty decent length isn't it? :)
The 15″ Macbook for 2016 is only supported by Apple for 6 years and will no longer receive the new macOS. I doubt any mac has been supported for a shorter time.
What about Mac Studio?
