On the occasion of this year Spring Keynote we saw the presentation of the expected 24″ iMac, which, apart from the Apple Silicon chip, offered an interesting change in design and new colors. But what would you say if the new MacBook Air came in the same colors? Well-known leaker Jon Prosser has now come forward with exactly this information videa on his Front Page Tech channel. He was allegedly told about this by a trusted source who had already given him information about a colored iMac in the past and was said to have seen a prototype of the blue Air. Anyway, he subsequently added that his source was very mysterious in this regard.

MacBook Air in colors

It is still expected from Apple that the new MacBook Air will be equipped with a new generation of Apple Silicon chips, specifically the M2 type. If this information is subsequently confirmed, it will be a great step back in time to the days of the iBook G3. In addition, the Cupertino giant probably liked these crayons. We saw the first change from the standard, according to some even boring, design with the arrival of last year's iPad Air (4th generation), while the aforementioned 24″ iMac arrived a few months later. Undoubtedly, this would be an interesting change.

This is how Apple presented the 24″ iMac at its launch:

At the same time, however, we must point out that no other reliable source/leaker has reported on a similar fact so far. Recognized analyst Ming-Chi Kuo he only mentioned that Apple is now working on a MacBook Air with a mini-LED display. We'll probably have to wait for a piece like this until Friday. Mark Gurman from Bloomberg then talked about the ongoing development of a thinner Air, however, there was no mention of other colors. How would you welcome such a change?
