Together with the new iPad Pro, Apple also presented the new generation of MacBook Air at a conference in New York today, which offers not only the long-awaited Retina display, but also a third-generation keyboard with a butterfly mechanism, Force Touch trackpad or Touch ID. At the end of the premiere of the laptops, the Californian company announced that the new product starts at $1199. A question mark hung over how much a ticket to the world of MacBooks would really cost on the Czech market. Now we already know the specific prices, but they are not very pleasing.

The basic variant with a 1,6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor of the eighth generation, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage starts at 35 crowns. A more expensive model with the same powerful processor, the same RAM, but a larger 256GB storage starts at 41 crowns.

However, in the configuration tool, you can choose up to 16GB of RAM and an SSD with a capacity of 1,5 TB. The MacBook Air equipped to the maximum in this way is sold on the Czech market at a considerable price 78 390 $. Unfortunately, Apple does not allow choosing a better processor, so all configurations have it dual-core Intel Core i5 with a core clock of 1,6 GHz and Turbo Boost up to 3,6 GHz.

It is also interesting that Apple left the previous generation MacBook Air with a dual-core fifth-generation Core i5 processor with a core clock of 1,8 GHz (Turbo Boost up to 2,9 GHz), 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD in the menu. And he didn't even lower its price, which is still holding on 30 crowns.
