Vratislav Holub Mac Studio is here. On the occasion of today's Apple Event, Apple really revealed a brand new computer, about the possible arrival of which we learned only a few days ago. At first glance, it can impress with its interesting design. This is because it is a device of compact dimensions, which in a way combines the features of the Mac mini and Mac Pro. But the essential thing is hidden, so to speak, under the surface. Of course, we are talking about extreme performance. So let's take a closer look at what the new product actually offers.
Mac Studio performance
This new desktop benefits primarily from its extreme performance. It can be equipped with M1 Max chips or the newly introduced and revolutionary M1 Ultra chip. In terms of processor performance, Mac Studio is 50% faster than Mac Pro, and up to 3,4x faster when comparing the graphics processor. In the best ever configuration with the M1 Ultra, it is even 80% faster than the current best Mac Pro (2019). So it's no surprise that the left rear can handle software development, heavy video editing, music creation, 3D work and a host of others. It can all be summed up rather quickly. Mac Studio is not bad in terms of connectivity either, on the contrary. The device specifically offers HDMI, a 3,5 mm jack connector, 4 USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) ports, 2 USB-A, 10 Gbit Ethernet and an SD card reader. In terms of wireless interface, there is Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

You can pre-order the new Mac Pro today, with it officially launching next week on Friday, March 18. As for the price, in the configuration with the M1 Max chip it starts at 1999 dollars, with the M1 Ultra chip at 3999 dollars.
