Most often we see locked computers in stores, but with the Mac Pro it is possible that someone will want to protect their expensive computer at home as well. Because of this, Apple has started selling a security lock adapter for its latest Mac Pro.

Paradoxically, this adapter will remove a thorn from the heel of Apple, which until now did not have an easy way to lock Macy Pro in its Apple Stores. Different solutions had to be devised with an alarm over Ethernet, but that is over now. Thanks to the new adapter, the latest Mac Pro can be easily secured with classic Kensington locks.

The lock (Kesington and others similar from other manufacturers) needs to be purchased additionally, however, you can connect the adapter to the Mac Pro without tools and the need for more handling of the device. Then you also have access to the internal components.

Apple charges 1 crowns for the security lock adapter for Mac Pro, and you can buy it on the Apple Online Store.
