According to some Apple users, the iPhone SE Max, which would practically be the iPhone 8 Plus with newer components, would be a great choice for older users. It would combine a larger screen, an experienced fingerprint reader (Touch ID) and most importantly – a simple iOS operating system. In the case of such a phone, its long-term support would play an essential role. The last similar device was the just mentioned iPhone 8 Plus, which celebrates its fifth birthday today and its time is running out. In the same way, the regular iPhone SE is a good device according to some, but for some older people it is too small, which is why they would like to see it in a larger size.
However, the arrival of the iPhone SE Max is rather unlikely. Nowadays, such a device would not make much sense, and it is quite possible that its popularity would be even lower than that of the iPhone 12/13 mini. After all, the mini models were also talked about in the same way before, as smartphones with huge potential, which was never fulfilled. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account one rather important thing. Although Apple's SE model was successful twice, the current third generation did not reap so much success. Apple users are probably no longer interested in a phone with such frames around the display in 2022, and therefore it is rather illogical to bring it in an even larger form. In the end, the arrival of the SE Max model would probably not be a success, on the contrary.
A possible solution
Fortunately, there is also a potential solution that has been talked about for several years. Apple could solve this "problem" once and for all by finally taking the iPhone SE itself a few steps forward. Apple fans would most like to see the next generation in the body of the iPhone XR, with the same LCD display, only with newer components. In this regard, it is more than clear that a similar device with Face ID would be significantly more successful.
