Apple picker Etnetera Logicworks, s.r.o. is a leading professional provider of corporate Apple service on the Czech market. His clients include a number of film productions, graphic studios and advertising agencies, for example Lucky Man Films, Studio Najbrt or Hullabaloo. Now he is expanding his team again and is looking for a head of service. What does such a position at Logicworks entail? What benefits does the company offer applicants? This was revealed to us by its director Ivan Malík.
You are not a classic Apple service. What exactly do you do?
We are not a reseller or repair shop. The growth of our business consists in service for companies, focusing on the business segment. This brings with it more complex and complicated problems. A good example is the project where we connected the website with the database system. The competition rejected him, saying that she had never done anything like that in her life. We are able to come up with a new solution and implement it.
Let's get straight to the point: what are the key skills of a service manager?
We want a colleague who enjoys Apple products and devotes himself to them in his spare time. Knowledge of Apple servers is a definite plus, as is Apple certification and industry experience. However, it is not only about hard skills. The head of service cannot do without basic experience in leading a smaller team and communication skills, which he applies when dealing with clients.
How does the content of this position differ from the work of a technician?
The service manager is 80% technician and 20% leader. The most important thing for us is the vigor and energy it brings with it. Nothing is immediate and we are well aware of that. Our goal is a great team, and the road to that can be long. We are happy to give the new colleague space and time to realize his own ideas and help him whenever he needs it.
What can a new member of your team look forward to?
