Perhaps everyone who knows Apple knows what the (PRODUCT)RED series is. This is one of the activities of the Cupertino company in support of the fight against AIDS. Apple also participates annually in the international day to fight this insidious and incurable disease. On this day, he paints the logos of his retail stores red and donates a portion of his profits to the appropriate charity.

The whole event lasts from today until the seventh of December. As part of it, the Cupertino company donates one dollar from every payment made in its Apple Stores through the Apple Pay payment service to the fight against AIDS. This year, Apple also included its App Store in its annual event, where a few interesting articles were added.

One of them mentions, among other things, that in sub-Saharan Africa, antiretroviral treatment, which can greatly extend and improve the quality of life for patients, costs just twenty cents a day. So one dollar from each sale is not at all insignificant in this context.

Anyone who would like to participate in the Apple event, but does not have an Apple Store nearby, can do so by purchasing one of the products from the RED line in online store. The offer includes, for example, a special version of the iPhone XR, Beats headphones, but also covers or straps for the Apple Watch.
