The creators of the world-famous hit World of Goo come to iOS devices with another very interesting and above all crazy venture called Little Inferno. It cannot be said that it is directly a classic game as we know it, but rather a game with an original processing that will literally and figuratively heat up your brain coils.

The majority of the population certainly likes to look into a fireplace, in which wood crackles and flames shoot out of it, and what about the people of planet Earth, so how did the developers of Little Inferno serve it to us? It turned into a ball covered in ice and snow, which trapped everyone in the warmth of their homes. However, the heat has to come from something, so here comes the player, whose finger turns into a struck match, and the iPad screen into a fireplace, into which you throw and set fire to absolutely everything you come across.

Does that sound crazy? In reality, it's even worse, because in addition to various wooden objects, pictures, papers and other classic things that would certainly serve you in an emergency to flood in real life, here you also load squirrels, fireflies, spiders and various appliances such as for example, an alarm clock, but also an atomic bomb or the sun and many other things.

You're probably asking, where is the point of this game? It's simple, coins pop out of burned objects that you collect, and of course you buy more new things to burn with them. There are several dozen items from seven catalogs to choose from. After purchasing, a package with the item you ordered will appear on the ledge in the fireplace, and you must wait for it to be delivered, or use one of the stamps that you can sometimes pick up after burning out, and have the item delivered to you immediately. From time to time you will receive a letter in which you can see another part of the story, or read some tips, or complete a task. After reading this piece of paper unexpectedly ends up in flames.

And now watch out because the best is yet to come. The game has a list of 99 combinations that you have to solve to beat the game. These are various sentences, phrases or slang expressions, which you have to decode somehow logically and solve this combination by combining two or three objects. For example, "Movie Night" is simple - you take corn and a TV, throw them in the fireplace, set them on fire, and that's it! But what about "Stop Drop & Roll"? Most likely, you would not immediately think that it is a burning combination of a fire extinguisher and a fire alarm.

All the objects, animals, appliances, toys and other possible and impossible objects here are excellently animated and each one behaves differently in fire and makes a different sound. Planets have their own gravity, a fire alarm will set off rain, a toaster will fly out of a toaster after heating, and so on. In addition, the game is underlined by an engaging musical accompaniment. Players who do not speak English may have a problem, and they will have to come up with combinations either by trial and error or use one of the many guides on the Internet. However, the question for many enthusiasts of games on iOS devices remains whether the game, for which I predict a play time of some 15 hours, is worth about 115 crowns despite its originality. However, if you manage to find a discount like I did, buy Little Inferno for twenty crowns without hesitation.
