I believe that there are many users among our readers who use a Mac or MacBook for their daily work. Personally, I could not imagine work without an apple computer, at least in my case. In addition, when you combine your device with two (or even more) monitors, you get an absolutely perfect working environment that any "windows guy" could envy. There are two main applications available in macOS for recording your thoughts or notes - Notes and Reminders. Personally, I'm not a big fan of these apps though, as I don't always have them in sight.
A few weeks ago, I wanted to get a big board for taking notes, which would definitely make my work clearer and easier. Personally, I also forget very often and it is true that I forget what I don't have written down within a few hours. In this case, I also forgot about the native app Tickets from Apple. Each of you probably has colored sticky notes at home, which you can stick anywhere you want with notes. It is a kind of trend to stick these notes, for example, on a monitor. However, why would you do that when you can use the native application Lístečky, which provides you with sticky notes without gluing them to the monitor and in a practically identical form? If you want to start using the Tickets application, or at least try it out, you can start it in the classic way using launchpad, or Spotlight.
After launching the Notes application, the first "paper" will appear on your desktop, on which you can write your first note, idea, or anything else you want to keep in view. As soon as you move to one of the papers, you can make various adjustments and change settings in the top bar. In the tab File for example, you can create a new ticket in the tab Editing then you can perform classic actions such as copy or paste. Bookmark Font used for simple text formatting, in a tab Colors you can then choose the color of the active ticket. The bookmark is also interesting Window, where you can set, for example, the display of the ticket always in the foreground. So that you always have the tickets in your eyes, even after restarting the system, click on them in the bottom dock after startup right click (or two fingers). Then drive to the column Elections a activate possibility Keep in Dock, together with the option Open when logged in.
How about an "All-in-One Messenger": https://allinone.im
I find it functionally much, much better - anyone using it?
I assume you most likely meant to post this comment to the Caprine article: https://jablickar.cz/caprine-klient-pro-messenger-ktery-nesmi-chybet-v-zadnem-macu/
I'm not sure if the Tickets have a future. I still remember them from MacOS 8.x and 9.x, and I vaguely remember that when we switched to Mac OS X, we missed something terribly. Maybe they could always swim on top or something. By the way, a tip from an eyewitness: try double-clicking on the top bar of the ticket - it will wrap :-)
Since Tickets don't sync with iCloud, Apple doesn't promote them in any way, and they include an "Export to Notes" item, so they may disappear over time.
You are absolutely right and I agree with practically everything you wrote. Thanks for the tip for wrapping the ticket, I didn't know about it :)
We'll see how it goes in future versions of macOS, at worst I'll actually have to buy the physical board :-D
So that we don't get fooled by April Fools' Day?
