Today at 19:22 our time we are waiting for the start of WWDCXNUMX, i.e. Apple's developer conference dealing mainly with operating systems. As we get closer to the start of the event, more details are emerging about what it will bring. Below you will find the last few.

We will not see an AR/VR headset

Despite all indications to the contrary, due to ongoing development, supply chain and complex hardware and software integration, it is now likely that Apple's headset will not debut until 2023. Apple is said to be struggling with overheating (which you really don't want on your head) , as well as with the problematic camera. While it's possible we'll see a teaser like Google showed off at I/O, the more likely scenario is that any headset won't be announced until 2023.

The MacBook Air does, but not in as many colors

The most likely candidate for what hardware we might see tonight is the MacBook Air. It has been talked about for more than a year now, with reports of its flat design based on the 24" iMac. The novelty should also have taken color variants from him, but in the end it would not have to be like that at all. According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg because the reports that the MacBook Air will come in so many colors are probably exaggerated. He adds that it should only be available in a trio of colors, i.e. space grey, silver and gold. But it allows for a possible blue variant, nothing more. Everything more or less confirms and Ming-Chi Kuo, who adds that Apple should deliver 3 to 2022 million units of it to the market in Q6 7.

14" MacBook Air, Mac mini tower and other hardware

Na website of Apple authorized dealer B&H Photo, its visitors found mentions of several upcoming hardware innovations. This should be the Mac mini, Mac mini tower, 14" MacBook Air and 13" MacBook Pro, where all said machines should contain the M2 chip. However, this information should be treated with appropriate skepticism, as retailers often just prepare various listings of products that might actually be introduced, based on the power of speculation.

13" MacBook Pro with M2 chip

If Apple really wanted to introduce the Apple Silicon chip M2, of course it would have to show it on some machines. If the speculations about the 14" MacBook Air and Mac mini are exaggerated, then the 13" MacBook Air could accompany not only the Mac mini but also the 13" MacBook Pro. The latter should get rid of the Touch Bar and, of course, would provide higher performance, although it would still be below the MacBook Pro with the diagonal size of their 14- and 16-inch displays. The M2 should feature an octa-core CPU (four power cores and four effective cores), but this time with a more powerful 10-core GPU. However, there are conflicting opinions about his arrival. As Apple still faces supply chain constraints, it is possible that it will not be introduced until the fall.
