The collectible card game Magic: the Gathering is a legend that few have disputed over the years. Richard Garfield's project still attracts millions of players around the world almost thirty years after its birth. This can be attributed to the well thought-out game design, the digital port of Magic Arena, and in part to the originality of the individual worlds where the stories of planeswalkers traveling through different planets take place. To mark the release of the new Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set, you can now take a closer look at one of the worlds in a new visual novel.

The aptly titled Kamigawa: A Visual Novel delivers on everything its title promises. It is a short narrative adventure in which you will go to the streets of the world of Kamigawa, an original mix of Japanese culture and cyberpunk. In it, you can learn more about how such a world works and meet a lot of interesting characters. If you're a fan of streaming video games, you might recognize celebrity inspiration in some of them. You will be able to add them to your party of companions as you travel the world.

Kamigawa: A Visual Novel functions primarily as a companion piece to the new Magic: the Gathering set. However, thanks to its interesting setting and excellent soundtrack, the hour-long one-snack game can interest even players who are not familiar with card games. In any case, you can get the game for free on Steam, so you really don't have to pay anything to try it.
