Ever since the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017, one and the same thing has been discussed among Apple fans - the return of Touch ID. Users called for the return of the fingerprint reader by the "dozens" immediately after the aforementioned revelation, but then their pleas gently died down. Anyway, they resounded again with the advent of the pandemic, when Face ID technology proved to be not so practical. Since people's faces are covered with a mask or respirator, it is of course not possible to scan the face and thus verify whether it is really the user in question. That could change very soon anyway.

This is what the iPhone 13 Pro will look like (yield):

According to the latest information from renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, which was obtained by the foreign portal MacRumors, Apple is preparing interesting changes for us. In his latest report to investors, he focused on the iPhone 14 (2022) generation, which should again bring four models. However, since the mini model is not doing so well in sales, it will be cancelled. Instead, there will be two phones with 6,1″ and two more with a 6,7″ display, which will be divided into basic and more advanced. More advanced (and at the same time more expensive) variants should offer a fingerprint reader integrated under the display. At the same time, these Apple phones should bring improvements to the camera, when, for example, the wide-angle lens will offer 48 MP (instead of the current 12 MP).

The return of Touch ID would undoubtedly make many Apple users extremely happy. However, there are also opinions as to whether it will not be too late for a similar gadget. The whole world is currently being vaccinated against the disease COVID-19 with the vision of ending the pandemic and therefore throwing away the masks. How do you perceive this situation? Do you think Touch ID under the display still makes sense, or will Face ID suffice?
