In the last few days, we have informed you several times about various leaks related to the expected 3rd generation AirPods. Their imminent arrival was even talked about by a very accurate leaker going by the nickname Kang, according to which the headphones are completely ready to be shipped and are just waiting for their introduction. This goes hand in hand with information about the first Keynote of the year. This should take place next Tuesday, March 23, and in addition to the new AirPods, we can look forward to the AirTags location tag, the new Apple TV and the like. This morning, however, the apple world was surrounded by the opposite news.

The imminent arrival of AirPods has been confirmed by several leakers, and it is theoretically clear that everyone will ignore the contrary opinion of one source. However, the mentioned source should not be one of the most respected analysts ever, Ming-Chi Kuo. According to his information, Apple plans to start mass production of this product until the third quarter of this year. It is therefore very unlikely that we will now see the introduction of new headphones and then have to wait several months for them. In any case, Kuo did not specify the reason for this prediction. At the same time, he added that sales of the popular AirPods will experience a significant drop this year. While 2020 million units were sold in 90, this year it is expected to be only 78 million units.

Of course, we won't know which side is right now, and we have no choice but to wait for the Keynote itself. In any case, it's possible that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is just wrong this time. The mentioned leaker Kang has proven himself several times in the past. Specifically, he revealed a lot of details about last year's iPhone 12 even before its arrival, when he was also the first to mention the upcoming revival of the MagSafe name. Which side do you lean on? Would you be happy if Kang's prediction came true, or are you betting more on the heralded Kuo?
